Morocco has a distinctive architectural style with Islam, Spanish, and French influence. The architecture is so unique to Morrocco and unlike anything I have see anywhere else in the world.
The hostels that I stayed in during my time were especially unique. Riads located in the medina that were often a maze to find but part of the experience if you truly want to discover Morocco. One hostel that really stood out to me was Zohor Hostel in Fez. I was in awe when I walked in. It was stunningly beautiful. Along with the beauty it is a great choice for backpackers and families looking to stay in the old medina of Fez. It is close to all of the attractions and the super friendly staff will provide you with any information you need to help you find your way.
