New year, new travel plans. It’s been awhile since I have blogged, apologies for the hiatus. The beginning of 2018 equals fun new travel plans and I decided it would be an appropriate time to get back into blogging and documenting my travel experiences.
Where am I headed this year? Well, I am currently at Beijing Airport after a 13 hour flight from Montreal awaiting my final flight to Auckland, New Zealand (another 13 hour flight!).
I will be spending 4 weeks travelling the north and south island of the country. About 2 weeks on each end. Now that I only have one flight left I am starting to feel a bit more excited.
I have a lot of hikes planned. There is so much to see in New Zealand so my time there will be jam packed with adventure.
After New Zealand I will be heading to Australia for 6 weeks. This part of my trip will be more spontaneous as I haven’t really done much planning. I will be in a booking-and-go mentality. What I do know is that I will travel up the east coast from Sydney to Cairns and then down through the red centre, finishing my trip in Melbourne.
When I left Canada (yesterday morning) it was -35 degrees celcius. Great day to leave! Along with the stunning beaches and beautiful scenery I am most looking forward to not freezing my but off.
Keep an eye out on my blog over the next few months as I hope to be posting updates on my travels.
